Information for Students
As a student at the U of A, you will use Workday to register for classes, view your tuition, scholarships and financial aid, and monitor your progress toward earning a degree. Here, you will find training videos and step-by-step demonstrations about managing your class schedule, updating your personal information, adding your family as authorized users, and more.
Once a semester, students will be required to complete onboarding in Workday. New Students will receive an email when it is time to start onboarding. Current students will receive a notification in Workday.
Log in to Workday
Follow the steps below to log in to Workday:
- Enter myapps.uark.edu into any browser.
- Login using your University of Arkansas credentials.
- Click on the blue Workday icon.
Complete Onboarding
Follow these steps to complete onboarding:
- Navigate to the My Tasks inbox and click into it to see your action items.
- Complete each of the six onboarding action items in your inbox.
- Use the third-party authorization quick reference guide to learn how to grant access to your student information to others.
- Check the Action Items and Holds tab on your student profile to be sure your onboarding hold has been approved.

Is your third-party having a hard time logging in? Check the email address you entered for them. An email should go directly to them after you finish adding them as a contact.
Cancel onboarding at another UA System

Switching Between Your Employee & Student Profile

The advising process is an important part of enrolling for your future classes. Here are some helpful things to know about advising in Workday Student:
- To view your advisor(s) in Workday Student, navigate to your Academics Hub. Your advisor’s name(s) is in the “Important Contacts” box.
- Use this quick reference guide to learn where to find your Registration Appointment.
- Advising appointments are still made in UASuccess, not in Workday Student.
- Visit advising.uark.edu for more information on advising.
Plan Future Class Schedules
- You can create an academic plan and edit it.

3. Find Course Sections
Dropping, Swapping, and Withdrawing

If you see a charge for the upcoming semester but no amount listed under Past Due, Current Due, or Future Due, it means you’ve set up a payment plan through our e-commerce site. Be sure to make payments according to your plan’s schedule.

Graduation
APPLY FOR PROGRAM COMPLETION
In order to complete a degree at the University of Arkansas, students must submit
a graduation application. This is done in Workday by submitting an “Application for Program Completion”. Students who qualify to apply for graduation will be notified via email with all
pertinent information. Students should apply at the beginning of their final semester.
Applications will not be available for upcoming semesters.
Transcripts
GENERATE UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT
Students have the ability to generate an unofficial transcript in Workday. For official transcripts, students should follow the procedures lined out on the
website for the Office of the Registrar.
